Detailed Explanation 

Switch On 3 Extra Improvements to Positive Bid Honoring (UI) 

This enhancement gives the administrator the ability to have the algorithm search extra combinations for award bids.
This does not change the award logic of the algorithm, rather it allows searches with additional combinations that may not have been found previously.

The checkbox is labeled Use Extra Combinations for Award Bids  and appears between the Max Iterations  and Max SLG Iterations options.

When selected (checked) and the run template saved, the value is set to True. Conversely, when the checkbox is deselected (unchecked)
and template saved, the value is set to False.

 In either case, the saved setting remains persistent if the template is reloaded for viewing. 

Add Import Warning for Events Pattern 

If an Administrator loads an Event/Training Pattern file that contains a duplicate date in a pattern which then causes the load to fail,
the Administrator now sees a Warning message with the line number and text indicating the load failed due to a duplicate date in that line.

If the Event/Training Pattern file contains multiple errors, the system processes all records and shows as many errors as possible,
 rather than stopping after the first error message. 

Change Bid Calendar for Out of Period Options 

This enhancement  improves the Change Bid Calendar for Out of Period Options in the WebApp in the following ways:
 

• When selecting a pairing number departing on bid, the out of period dates display in light grey.
   
• When selecting a pairing number departing on bid and there is a pairing that departs out of the period, the out of period dates are highlighted in blue, like other selectable dates.
   
• When selecting depart on bid, and there is no pairing that departs out of the period, the out of period dates display in light grey.
   
• When selecting depart on bid and there is a pairing that departs out of the period, the out of period dates are selectable, like in-period dates.

Rolling X Minutes Off In Y Days 

This enhancement allows administrators to see the rules Pairing Rolling X Minutes Off In Y Days and Event Rolling X Minutes Off In Y Days
 when using the Rules editor. Administrators can see three parameters for each of the following rules:

• RestMinutes (set to 2160)
   
• RangeDays (set to 7)
  
   
• IncludeLayover (set to True)
  
   

When performing runs, administrators will not see awards with less than 36 hours in a rolling 7-day period.

 Pilot and Cabin bidders will have at least 36 hours off in all rolling 7-day periods, when receiving an award. 

Support Concurrent Settings to Allow Slidegrouping into Past or Future 

Because JBU Pilots are configured for Slidegrouping into past or future, this enhancement
was introduced to allow the scheduler to honor bids all other things being equal, when users bid for a group
with absences in the period and out of the period.

   

Add GDO/Grey Day Functionality

Within the BWA system, all lines now get 9 GDO at the end of each run, based on the Domicile Rest with Table settings.
The Scheduler uses Prefer Off bids to deter-mine the GDO days.

The absence code which appears in the RAIDO export file is OFF.
