Scheduling a Category Award Run
In this topic, you will review the process of scheduling a category award run.

Detailed Explanation
The process begins on the Run Manager tab, and an existing template will be used to launch a schedule award for Las Vegas captains.
Click the Launch Run button.

The Run Type can be either Concurrent, Consecutive or Training depending on your configuration.
Concurrent and Consecutive - pairings/reserve awards
Training - awards training events
Click the Run Type dropdown button.
Click the Concurrent list item.
Click the Template dropdown button.

The template can be selected from this dropdown if multiple templates are available.
Click the Test_Template list item.
Next, select the category that you want to award.
Click the Group dropdown button.
Click the LAS-319-CA list item.
Click the Run Name input field.
The Run Name can be anything wanted and it displays only to Administrators.
Enter LAS Awards into the Run Name field.
Create a normal window of 75 to 90 credit hours with a threshold of 80.
Click the Normal | Low input field.
Press the Delete

Click the Normal | High input field.

Limit the number of crew members permitted into the min credit window to 5.

The primary stack date (PSD) is used to prioritize unstacking for a holiday. For this example, February 14th, Valentine's Day, will be used to ensure sufficient coverage.
Click the Use Primary PSD check box.

The amount of open pairings per day will be limited using Max Stack Height. In this example, no more than 10 are wanted on weekdays and no more than 8 on weekends. Additionally, February 14th is wanted to be limited to no more than 5 open pairings for the holiday.

The number of reserves required for each day can now be defined.

This will apply the default RES values to the fields below.

In addition to applying the RES default, any specific date(s) can also be edited to the numbers required. In this example, the reserve number will be increased to 9 on February 14th.

The next items that will be worked with are farther down the screen, so scrolling down is necessary.

In this section, the reserve short call types to be used for this category are checked. In this example, RSA and RSB will be used, and the target reserve numbers for the call type will be set.

Click the RSA | Weekday input field.

Save launches the award process.
Save as Template allows you to save the parameters as a template if you wish.
