Reminder: Maximum Days On can be placed above or below Prefer Off and Avoid bid preferences in a Pairing bid group; however, it must be above all Award bid preferences. This bid cannot be forgotten and it will automatically be placed above your first Award bid preference, if you attempt to add it below an Award bid. The interface will not allow the bid to be moved below an Award bid, nor can an Award bid be moved above it.
Notes:
It tells the N-PBS Scheduler to build your block with a set number of days on in a row. The number of days off is set by you when you enter the bid.
The N-PBS Scheduler will attempt to create all sets of days on to the number entered. If it cannot build all sets to the number requested, the bid will not be honored.

The last set of days on could be shorter because you could be awarded pairings at the beginning of the next period that would complete set - however there is no guarantee that this will happen.
