1 Introduction
Viewing and managing completed runs
In this topic we review how to view the runs that you have already completed and how to manage them.
We estimate that this will take 6 minutes to complete.
2 Detailed Explanation
The completed runs list shows all categories, number of runs completed, and if it has been Published (viewable to the crew members), Locked (to pin it to the top of the list of runs), or Blank (unpublished - only available to administrators).
For this example, choose LAS-319-CA, and select the single run available from the list in the right side pane.
Click
the LAS Awards row.
View your completed runs on the Completed tab.
Ensure you select the particular run before any options. In this case, LAS Awards.
Click
the Set State button.
Use the Set State option to lock the run.
Click
the Locked list
item.
Click
the OK button.
Note the state of the run is updated to reflect the lock.
Click
the Reports button.
If, for some reason, the run you want to work with is deselected, select it again continue working with it.
Click
the LAS Awards row.
To view all of the available reports pertaining to the selected run, let's click the Reports button.
Click
the Reports button.
REMINDER
You can generate various reports from this screen. For more information, see the topic on reporting.
Click
the Output tab.
Output files are used to import data into your crew management system.
If you need an import file for your crew management system, choose the export format of the file you want to output using these options.
Click
the Done button.
Select the run you want to work with again.
Click
the LAS Awards row.
Click
the Stats button.
HINT
The Stats button and the Dynamic Stats button both generate similar pools of data. Depending upon your needs, use the option that best suits.
Let's view the Stats report.
The report is generated in a separate browser tab.
Click
the LAS Awards row.
Click
the Schedule button.
The Schedule report displays the Gantt view of the category's awards.
The report downloads as a PDF through your browser. Click to view it or save it.
Click CLASS-ScheduleRe….pdf.
Click
the Close Tab button.
Click
the Excel Export button.
The Excel export button generates a spreadsheet which allows planners to compare all the completed runs within a category.
The report downloads through the browser.
Click CLASS-RunCompa….xlsx.
Click
the Close button.
Click
the Relaunch button.
To use this run as a base and make parameter adjustments, you use the Relaunch button.
Click
the Run Name input
field.
HINT
Run names must be unique in the system. PBS appends an underscore to the name of any run that is relaunched. As a best practice, you can append your own convention to differentiate your run names.
Enter v2 into
the Run Name field.
Click
the Normal > Threshold Up spin
button.
For this example, let's update the threshold value to 81 hours by clicking the up arrow.
The rerun launches when you save.
Click
the Save button.
To confirm your run is in the queue, click the Scheduler tab.
Click
the Scheduler tab.
