You can set up three types of credit windows to let crew members bid for maximum and minimum credit blocks. The maximum and minimum credit windows are based on the normal credit window, so you need to set them up carefully.
Normal Credit Window
The normal credit window identifies your full credit window, including both the maximum and minimum credit window boundaries. Set the:
Low value to your minimum credit lower boundary.
High value to your maximum credit upper boundary.
threshold halfway between these two values.
Maximum Credit Window
The maximum credit window identifies the most credit that crewmembers can bid for. These settings allow the N-PBS Bidder to fill a crewmember’s block with as much credit as possible. Set the:
Low value approximately 10 hours below your maximum credit upper boundary.
High value to the same value as the normal High value.
threshold three or four hours below the High value.
Minimum Credit Value
The minimum credit value identifies the least credit that crewmembers can bid for. These settings allow the N-PBS Bidder to fill a crewmember’s block with as little credit as possible. Set the:
Low value to the same value as the normal Low value
High value approximately 10 hours above your minimum credit lower boundary.
Note: The Normal and Max Credit high settings are the same, and the Normal and Min Credit low settings are the same. Make sure that your credit window settings meet these criteria.
