1 Introduction
Crew reports
In this topic we review how to generate simple reports on a crew member, and also how to perform more advanced searches before generating a report.
We estimate that this will take 6 minutes to complete.
2 Detailed Explanation
Note that we are on the Crew tab and its Crewmember Details tab.
Click
the Employee Number input
field.
You can search by employee number, first name, last name, or any combination of these fields.
Enter 999999 into
the Employee Number field.
Click
the Search button.
Here are the search results. Next, we will show you how to go to the edit window for any given crew member in the search results. As this example result returned only one crew member, the entry for John Gallagher is already selected (highlighted in blue).
Click
the Edit button.
On the Details tab,
you could now edit the employee information if you needed.
For the
purposes of this demonstration, cancel out of the screen.
Click
the Cancel button.
Let's run a report
on this employee.
This report
provides basic information such as Employee ID, first and last name,
languages, Reduced Block, category, seniority and eligibility.
Click
the Report button.
This report can show either just the one crew member as in this example, or, if your results returned multiple results, as many crew members as you highlight on the previous screen.
Click Crew
Report.
Let's move on to the Crew Report tab where we can pull reports by a variety of means.
Here you can pull crew reports for all employees, a specific employee number, specific categories of employees or a training group.
Click
the Category radio
button.
Click
the Category dropdown
button.
Let's change the category to LAS Captains on A319's.
Click
the LAS-319-CA list
item.
Click
the Generate Report button.
Note that, by default, reports are sorted by Seniority. We'll show you the other options shortly.
We
have blurred some names and employee fields here for
confidentiality reasons.
All crew
members in the selected category are listed. This report has
been sorted by seniority, but other options are available.
Click
the Close button.
Here is where you can change your sorting option, in case you don't want to sort by seniority.
Click
the Sort By dropdown
button.
Click
the Sort By dropdown
button.
We won't run the report again. Let's go back to the Crewmember Details tab.
Click
the Crewmember Details tab.
You can use the Employee number, first name and last name for simple searches.
Alternatively, you can construct more advanced searches.
Click
the Advanced button.
For this more complex search example, let's find all LAS A319 Captains who are not eligible to bid in this period.
Click
the Base dropdown
button.
Click
the LAS list
item.
Click
the Equipment dropdown
button.
Click
the 319 list
item.
Click
the CA list
item.
Click
the Eligible dropdown
button.
Click
the False list
item.
Click
the Search button.
Here are all the
results that match your search criteria.
Once again we have blurred some of the results for
confidentiality reasons.
Click
the Reports tab.
You can also generate the same report from the Reports > Crew Report tab.
Click
