Crew Reports
In this topic, you will review how to generate simple reports on a crew member, and also how to perform more advanced searches before generating a report.
We estimate that this will take 6 minutes to complete.
Detailed Explanation
Currently, the Crew tab and its Crewmember Details sub-tab are active.
Click the Employee Number input field.
Searches can be performed using an employee number, first name, last name, or any combination of these fields.
Enter 999999 into the Employee Number field.
Click the Search button.
Here are the search results. The next step is to demonstrate how to access the edit window for any crew member in the search results. In this example, as only one crew member was returned, John Gallagher's entry is pre-selected (highlighted in blue).
Click the Edit button.
On the Details tab, the employee information can be edited if needed. For this demonstration, cancel out of the screen.
Click the Cancel button.
A report will now be generated for this employee. This report provides basic information such as Employee ID, first and last name, languages, Reduced Block, category, seniority, and eligibility.
Click the Report button.
This report can show either just the one crew member as in this example, or, if your results returned multiple results, as many crew members as you highlight on the previous screen.
Click Crew Report.
Proceed to the Crew Report tab, where reports can be generated using various criteria.
Here you can pull crew reports for all employees, a specific employee number, specific categories of employees or a training group.
Click the Category radio button.
Click the Category dropdown button.
Now change the category to LAS Captains on A319's.
Click the LAS-319-CA list item.
Click the Generate Report button.
By default, reports are sorted by Seniority. Other sorting options will be shown shortly.
All crew members in the selected category are listed. This report has been sorted by seniority, but other options are available.
Click the Close button.
Here is where sorting options can be changed, if sorting by seniority is not desired.
Click the Sort By dropdown button.
Click the Sort By dropdown button.
The report will not be re-run. Return to the Crewmember Details tab.
Click the Crewmember Details tab.
Simple searches can be performed using the employee number, first name, and last name.
Alternatively, you can construct more advanced searches.
Click the Advanced button.
For this more complex search example, find all LAS A319 Captains who are not eligible to bid in this period.
Click the Base dropdown button.
Click the LAS list item.
Click the Equipment dropdown button.
Click the 319 list item.
Click the CA list item.
Click the Eligible dropdown button.
Click the False list item.
Click the Search button.
Here are all the results that match your search criteria.
Click the Reports tab.
You can also generate the same report from the Reports > Crew Report tab.
Click the Crew Report tab.
