Two new checkboxes added to the Prorated Days Off parameter on the Absence Code configuration screen. These checkboxes give administrators the ability to choose whether an absence code will prorate days off for Pairing or Reserve lines. The absence code will prorate days off for both Pairing and Reserve lines if both boxes are selected. The absence code will not prorate days off if the corresponding (Pairing or Reserve) checkbox is deselected. In the example, the code VC will prorate days off for Pairing lines, but not for Reserve lines.
The Reserve and Pairing checkboxes are disabled if the Prorated Days Off checkbox is deselected. If the Prorated Days checkbox is selected, the Reserve and Pairing checkboxes are selected by default. You must deselect the checkbox if you don’t want an absence to prorate days off for Pairing or Reserve lines.
The Prorate Days Off column has been removed from the Absence Codes screen. It has been replaced by the Prorate Days Off Reserve and Prorate Days Off Pairing columns. A checkmark indicates whether the code is prorating days off.
