Bid for or avoid pairings that contain a number of deadhead legs greater than, equal to, or less than a specific number, or within or outside a range. It is also possible to bid for or avoid a specified number of deadhead legs at the beginning, end, or middle (neither the first nor the last leg) of a pairing (pairing stage). Deadhead legs are often combined with other bid options.
Note: For block construction, Deadhead legs are not considered block time.
