Any / Every Options
This bid preference includes an Any or Every option.
- If Any is selected, only one pairing must have the property for it to be awarded or avoided.*
- If Every is selected, every leg of the pairing must have the property for it to be awarded or avoided.*
Reminders
*In most configurations, Any and Every options are not available for Avoid Pairings bid preferences. If these options do not appear for avoid bids, they are not available. This is due to the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which is an agreement between the airline (company), their unions, and crew.
Avoid Every only removes pairings where every leg has the property to be avoided. For example, Avoid Pairings if Every Leg is Redeye only removes pairings where all legs are redeyes. Pairings with mixed legs are not removed.
Refer to the "Using Any or Every" article for more information.
Flight Number
Bid for or avoid pairings containing specific flight numbers. Pairings may be filtered where flight numbers are greater than, less than, or within or outside a specified range.
Award Pairings Example
Award Pairings If Every Flight Number 1030, 1060
- Pairings are awarded if every flight number in the pairing matches 1030 and 1060.
Avoid Pairings Example
Avoid Pairings If Any Flight Number Between 3000 And 3999
- Pairings are filtered out if any flight number in the pairing is between 3000 to 3999.
