Aircraft Type

Any / Every Options

This bid has an Any or Every option. If you use Any - only one leg of the pairing has to contain the property for it to be awarded or avoided*.

Reminders

  • *In most configurations, Any and Every options are not available for Avoid Pairings Bid Preferences. If you do not see these options on your avoid bids, you do not have them.

Avoid Every only removes pairings where every leg has the property to be avoided. For example, Avoid Pairings if Every Leg is Redeye does not remove pairings where not all legs are redeyes. It only removes pairings where every leg is a redeye.

Aircraft Type

  • Bid for or avoid pairings where at least one or all legs of the pairing is operated on a specific aircraft type or types.

  • You can select multiple aircraft types from the list by holding down the CTRL key then clicking each aircraft type.

Reminders

  • Any Aircraft Type and All Aircraft Type bid preferences have been combined into one bid called Aircraft Type. An Any or Every option has been added to the new bid preference.

Pairings bid examples

Award Pairings If Every Aircraft Type 767

  • It only awards pairings if every leg on the pairing has 767 aircraft.


Avoid Pairings If Any Aircraft Type 767

  • It filters out all pairings that include at least one flight on 767 aircraft.

  • Deadheads are ignored when avoiding any aircraft bid. You can avoid working on the aircraft, but could still get a pairing that has a deadhead on the aircraft.
