Followed By has multiple options depending on your configuration. See the Related Topics section for descriptions of Maximum Time Between Pairings and Allow Intervening Activities. These options are not available if you do not see them on your interface.
Reminder: A Followed By bid preference is an all or nothing bid preference. In other words, if the N-PBS Scheduler can find pairings that match all of your Followed By bid preferences, it awards you the pairings. However, if the N-PBS Scheduler can find pairings that match your first Followed By option, but nothing that matches the second Followed By option, none of the pairings are awarded.
To add a Followed By bid preference:
Select the first bid preference and its options if any.
Click Followed By at the bottom of the Bid Preference Editor.
If applicable, select other followed by options.
Followed by options vary based on your configuration. If you don't see the options, you don't have them.
Select the second bid preference and options if any.
Click the Apply button.
The bid preference is added to your bid.
Remember that you need to select the options for your last bid preference then click the Apply button to add the entire Followed By bid preference to your bid. You can edit each Followed By bid preference by clicking on the Edit button next to the bid preference.
You can use Followed By to link multiple bid options. Your administrator sets the limit available to you. The Followed By option becomes inactive once you have reached the maximum.
